Barack Obama needs your support
We're on the verge of a new week, maybe our leaders will finally come to an agreement on a stimulus plan and pass it before it's too late for all of us. You do realize that we (the middle class & below) are the ones who'll eventually suffer if something isn't done soon, don't you? This is not a "JOKE" people, this is a real calamity that could happen if our leaders don't act soon. So take this warning seriously.
Most of you have worked a long time to achieve what you have, and all of it could be lost over night...a lifetime of everything that you have gained could just disappear! Barack knows that this is a real threat to the middle class, and he's trying his best to stop it. So please give him your support. If America goes down, we all lose!
Can you believe that McCain/Palin were telling everyone that our economy was "fundamentally strong" just a couple of months ago! If they had succeeded in getting into the White House, we may be in a lot worse shape than we are. Like they say, sometimes it's better to be lucky, than good.
Yes, maybe there really is a God, and he helped us choose the right man for this great crisis that we're in. History will tell us someday whether Barack was the right man at the right time.
Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was also lacking experience and our country was in a crisis then too, many people thought that he too was not the right man for the job. May I remind you that Lioncoln is considered to be the "best" president that we've ever had! Maybe President Obama will be the second!
Rush Limbaugh said that he hopes that Barack Obama fails...if he does fail, we all lose! Do you still want to listen to Rush Limbaugh? He sounds un-American to me. By the way, it won't affect him if Barack fails, he signed a multi-year contract worth over $400 million dollars! That's USD my friends!
Give Obama a chance, you have "everything" to loose! Sorry Rush, but you're wrong!

Just talking or worrying won't stop job losses. Definitely some quick and correct action is needed.

Rush was taken out of context, he meant that he doesn't want Barack's socialist policies to succeed. He wants the socialist policies to fail is what he meant.
Also, did you know that one of Obama's first act as pres is to fund foreign abortions. I just doubt... that God will be on his side for this... don't you?
Mccain's "fundamentally strong" comment, was another one taken out of context. He meant the US greatest resource, the people, and the built-in systems/values that make our country great inspite of adversity.
Did you know that 180 industrialized countries contribute to the UNFPA, and only the US withheld funding under George Bush? Do you also know that abortion is only one means used to "save the lives" of the less fortunate woman around the world? Do you know just how many woman die from childbirth on this planet, because the US withheld funding for medical clinics? This was a tragedy under George Bush. You need to read more about what the funding is all about. It's about saving the lives of poor woman and their babies, it's NOT all about abortion as you may think. You need to read more about it, because you're talking out of context yourself. Contraceptives are the real answer, yet religious groups forbid their use and in turn millions of babies are born only to die of malnutrition and disease. Log on to YouTube to see what's going on in Africa do to over population and hunger. Could you stand to watch your child starve to death? How many people can our world sustain before the food runs out?
I have listened to Rush Limbaugh off and on over the years and he's extreme "right wing" anti-woman's rights and out of touch with today's generation. Thank goodness for the Internet, because anyone can listen to exactly with this man said, listen to him again, then tell me that it was out of context.
If you look at UNFPA with tunnel vision, you'll never see the many good things that they do for the needy. We, the people of the world, have a responsibility to educate and provide medical care to the less fortunate among us, so their children will have a greater chance in life. Don't the poor in the Philippines deserve medical care too? The UNFPA provides medical care free of charge to them. Many children, because of UNFPA health care, are getting a second chance at life, who would have otherwise died because of disease and malnutrition. Maybe someday one of these children will grow up to become a world leader! How many children died because Bush cut funding for UNFPA is uncertain.
