Good luck Mr. 44TH President!
I hope that you were able to watch Barack Obama become our 44TH President yesterday. Here's something of interest that I didn't know. Barack Obama became our 44TH President even before he took the oath of office! Strange but true, the new presidency starts at precisely 12:00 noon on January 20TH, whether he has taken the oath or not. So actually he was already president at the stroke of noon...he may not have even known this himself. I guess the oath is just a formality.
It was very touching to see him dance with his wife (the first lady) Michelle Obama last night at his first inaugurational ball. Beyonce sang "At Last", an old song originally recorded by Etta James several years ago. I think that many people had a tear in their eye as they watched the first couple embrace..they surely seemed to be in love!
I can't wait to hear the reaction from world leaders as they comment on our new president.
I just happened to be around when John F. Kennedy was president and Camelot began..I see many "similarities" in this couple, so maybe we're seeing Camelot revisited!
Let's hope for a better world to live in, where people learn to talk out their differences, rather than the use of force. Everyone has a story to tell, if you just take the time to listen...it is the time for this country to listen.
Something that I heard the other day deserves to be mentioned again. A man here in Detroit was asked why he wanted to go to the inauguration so badly, when a mechanic told him that his car was in such poor shape that it probably would not make the trip to Washington. He said and I quote: American ends in "ican"...not i-can't. By the way, it did make it to Washington!
So please remember this when we help our new president rebuild this great country of ours. It's going to take some time, so be patient, nothing good ever comes easy. But if we roll up our sleeves and work together, we'll get it done, we have to for our children's sake!
God bless our new leaders and their families and may they have the wisdom to make correct decisions that affect us all.
Whether you're a Republican, Democrat or Independant, let's give our new president the support he needs to make the necessary judgements to get our counrty back on track.
If you missed "The Dance" here is the video.

Salam damai dari Indonesia.
I love this music..I haven't seen the full coverage in the tv show.. your right whether if your are republican or democratic we need to support our new president in this country.
Thank you for your comments, they're appreciated. It is time for all peace loving people to come together for the common good, and stop fighting over petty issues. World leaders need to talk to one another and solve their differences as well, with a hand shake, not with bombs and bullets! Let's give our children a peaceful better world to live in. We all owe them at least that much.
