Give "CHANGE" a chance

I don't know about you, but I'm getting rather sick of hearing about Sarah Palin. This woman has virtually no experience at much of anything, yet the Republicans would like to see her as Vice President of the United States! Just imagine how things would be if McCain died and she became our President? Could "Soccer-Mom" handle another 9/11 situation by herself? My gosh, look what we have in Washington now, could it get any worse? You bet it could, so you had better get off that Palin kick and "think" of what could happen. It's happened before with John F. Kennedy and surely could happen again. I just don't know why so many Americans don't use their heads when voting these days. We have this "worthless" group in Washington because YOU put them there, not once, but twice! Do you want to make that same mistake a third time? Make no mistake about it, voting for John McCain is like giving George Bush a third term, he voted with Bush over 90% of the time...so nothing will CHANGE with John McCain!

The "Eternal Flame" still burns brightly for some of us who lived through those troubled times in the 60's, but we still have hope today for a better tomorrow. Give "CHANGE" a chance.

Is Sarah Palin "Qualified" to be President?

I'm telling you, I'm getting sick of hearing about Sarah Palin. This is working to distract from the real issues this country is facing. I ask you, do you want Sarah Palin to run this country? Well, that will happen if something happens to John McCain. He has had four (4) bouts with Cancer already and there's no telling when it will show up again, not to mention that he's 72 years old! There is "NO WAY" a person like Sarah Palin should ever hold a seat so close to the Presidency, without the proper experience...period. Whether you're a Republican or a Democrat, I think all should THINK about what happened not so very long ago when John F. Kennedy was assassinated and the vice President took control. Palin has been a Mayor of a town of only 9,000 people, then she was elected to Governor of a state with more Polar Bears than people! The "total" population of Alaska is only 670,053 people, that's 1.1 person per sq. mile! Los Angeles County California alone has almost 10 million people! Detroit has over a million people! My God, just think about it, Los Angeles county California has a bigger population than her entire state! I ask you, is she QUALIFIED to run our nation? If your answer is "yes", then we're in big trouble! I'd rather have Joe Biden running things than her any day. Joe would not have been my pick, I think Hillary would have helped the ticket more, but the fact that her husband has been the President diminished those chances. Anyway, think about what could happen, and if you think Sarah Palin should become President. If you have any common sense, I think you'll come to the same conclusion that I have.

McCain's weird VP choice

I can't tell you how shocked I am over John McCain's choice for a running mate. This woman has virtually no experience, something the Republicans complain about with Obama. However Obama has Joe Biden, a thirty year senator by his side with international experience. Remember, John McCain has had cancer, is now 72 years old and Sarah Palin is just one "tick" away from being President! Oh my god, I just cannot see how the American people will take a chance on something as important as this. If they do, then the presidency has become a "joke" and I for one will not vote again! I think that this just goes to show you how low the Republican party has sunk because of George Bush. Putting party politics aside, can you imagine a woman who has only 1 1/2 years experience as Governor (of Alaska of all places) and before that mayor of a 9,000 town becoming our President? Wow, this is nonsense at it's utmost and no true American should ever take a chance on a ticket like that. This shows John McCain's decision making is not very good at all, and I'd hate to see how he would handle a real crisis! He may very well regret passing over Mitt Romney before this is over with. Sorry John, but Hillary supporters are not going to bite on this "hook"! Foolish decision, if you thought that the "Titanic" sunk fast, just wait for the debates!
