Cheap car insurance for Californians

If you live in California, as I once did, then you know the high cost of auto insurance. You also know that if you drive without it, your sure to loose your ride if you get stopped. Here is your best solution to get car insurance cheap. Just by chance I've come across an Auto Insurance company located in northern California by the name of Cost-U-Less insurance, that has been growing by leaps and bounds because of their sensible rates. They've been saving Californians a ton of money when they switched coverage from their old insurance company. If you visit their website you'll find many examples of people who have saved a great deal of money by switching to Cost-U-Less insurance. You can also get a quote in just two minutes or less and be able to compare your current rate to theirs. From what I have seen with my own eyes, you'll be hard pressed to find any company that can match the rates these people offer.

Kids will be kids!

Well the weather has finally warmed up here in Michigan and that is good for everyone. They say in a couple of day's it will rain, so the snow will all be gone, for a while at least.

I just wanted to tell you something. I went to the store the other day and as usual took Tiana with me. I noticed that she was making a lot of noise walking...clop, clop, clop! Where the heck is that noise coming from, I was thinking? Suddenly a woman started laughing while looking at Tiana. What she had done was put her mothers shoes on and go to the store with me! It was too late to take her home, so we went on with our business, but surely entertained all the people at the store at the same time. Laughs galore!

Accurate dishwasher rating

My wife has been tired of washing dishes by hand and the soapy water makes her hands break out in a rash, so she's been thinking about getting a dishwasher. Now, I am thinking that in the near future maybe we should consider getting one myself. So, I told her that she should do some research on dishwashers and try and find out which one would be best for our needs. Anyway, I found a website that has dishwasher rating that will help us decide which is best for us. Anyway. if you are also thinking about purchasing a dishwasher, then you should visit the site that I have found and read about the different types of dishwashers to choose from. Unique housewarming gifts website

Here's a website that I wish I had known about before Christmas. They're offering personalized items such as Doormats, Crocks (that can be used as name markers for your front porch), Address signs, cool looking Mailboxes, Cookie jars, Planters, Address plaques, and Birdhouses, the list goes on and on. Believe me, if you're looking for anything personalized, then you had better save this website to your "favorites". They offer just about everything personalized for the home. It is also notable to mention , they have a very good rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)which you can check by selecting the button at the top of their website. These people take great pride in what they sell and stand behind everything as being of the highest "quality". Please log on to their website and take a look at all the really great items that they offer. Everything is of the highest quality as I stated and will last for many years. Spring is right around the corner, so this would be a great time to add that personal touch to your home. Myself, I just love the personalized House signs that can be displayed on the front porch. I'll bet you, that if you take a look at their website you'll see something that will catch your eye, and if it catches your eye it is sure to catch your guests eye as well! So help me spread the word about this unique website by telling all your friends and neighbors.

The weather & more

What a surprise when I got up this morning, there was snow all over the place....and it was still coming down! I guess the weather will continue to be unpredictable, but it did look a lot like spring just a few days ago. In fact, when I was at Sears the other day, I saw a man buying an outside "Grill"! I just knew he was going to put the kibosh on our weather. I said to myself at the time; what is this guy thinking? I'm surprised that he didn't buy a new lawn mower as well! LOL

Any of you thinking of supporting Huckabee should listen to what he said about our Constitution. I'm including the "link" so you can hear for yourself, just double "click" on his name.
I really don't know who is best for our country, but at this time I'm leaning towards Romney, mind you I don't think that he's the best politician that I've ever heard, just the best of the worst bunch that I've seen in a long time! There's still time, maybe someone will emerge above the others and ignite me.

What's in store for me this year?

A fellow blogger (JenR., thanks, Jen!) tagged me with this year's horoscope. So below is my reading. My wife, son, daughter, sister in law, and me all share the same zodiac sign. There are so many scorpios in our family now. So, wow how fun. Well, anyway, I enjoy reading my horoscope every once in a while, it can be inspiring as well as awakening. Alright, this is all for now, I still have errunds to run. Grocery shopping, I do it because Ana doesn't drive yet, perhaps this year she can start.

The Scorpio Horoscope 2008 brings into limelight the need for hard work in order to overcome hurdles for the people born under this zodiac sign. The thinking abilities of Scorpio people would be sharpened as per the horoscope 2008. Thus they will learn many new things and this learning will also bring much success for them. Unfortunately the domestic affairs can witness some problems or discomfort during the year. These affairs should be handled diplomatically and major changes concerning them should be avoided.

The Scorpio horoscope 2008 terms passion as the theme for the coming year. So, being passionate in important things would help the Scorpio people to attain success in their lives.

The professional life of the Scorpio people would demand more seriousness and new zeal to achieve more and more. Those who would be able to do so would definitely achieve success and no one can stop them for climbing up the ladder to leadership.

Scorpio Horoscope 2008

A little heaven on the grill

Oh my God, I thought that I was going to pass out when I came across the El Pollo Loco Chicken website. This amazing restaurant was my favorite flame grilled Mexican chicken restaurant when we lived in California. KFC, takes the back seat to this chicken, believe me!If you've never tried El Pollo Loco Chicken, you haven't lived my friend! I want to also share with you what we liked to do with some of the chicken that was left over. We made chicken Burritos with it. Start with a "corn" torilla and add some salsa (El Pollo's Loco's is the best), chop up a tomato, add lettuce, refried beans, cheese and of course that great chicken. Top all that off with a cold one from south of the boarder. This is a little heavon in a tortilla and you'll never know it unless you try it! Unfortunately we now live in Michigan where there aren't any El Pollo Loco restaurants, but I hope that someday they'll expand over here. I'm sure that they would go over very big here because people love to go out and eat here. Believe me, Detroit restaurants are packed throughout the week, not just on the weekends, like many other cities. I hope that you hear us over here El Pollo Loco, we want you in Detroit! Don't forget to log on to their website for exciting videos about flame grilling.

Christmas bills are coming in

Gosh, it's like spring today here in Michigan. This place sure has crazy weather, one moment it's cold as can be and the next minute it's warm like spring. Weird. Anyway, we'll take the warmer weather any time. Did you get through Christmas unscathed? Now the bills come in for all that endless shopping! Wow, we all over spend at Christmas year after year, and never seem to learn our lesson. Believe me, many people will complain every time that those credit card bill comes in, only to do the very same thing next Christmas! Hey, most people around the world think we're rich Americans that can afford anything...ummm, as long as we have credit cards that is!

Use Wordze for a more efficient keyword research

This is something new that I want to tell everybody about. It is about a website that enables people that are planning on starting an online business have a way to know how many other people use the same keywords. The site offers a good research tool to make any research such an ease by being able to filter out keywords as well as expand keywords when needed. I did my research using different keywords, and the results amazed me because I can easily expand my keywords or filter them according to what I want to see among my results. I can narrow down my search by adding and subtracting my keywords, so my results are more intact without extra sites that don't relate to my keywords. I definitely recommend the Wordze keyword research service to people who wants to know what other sites share their keywords, that way you can come up with an even better ideas. You can also see other site's hit counts, estimated traffic, and how they rank and rate in the search engine. So, there you go, if you want to know who share your keywords out on the web, you should check out the site. I know it will serve your online business well, but, don't just take my words for it, try it!

Life after Bush

Did you vote in your primary, or maybe plan to...or NOT? Yeah, I know how you feel. I voted Tuesday in our primary here in Michigan. I really wasn't sure if I wanted to or not since I didn't think this group of "so called" candidates were anything to write home about. How the heck did we wind up with a group of tired looking bozos like this anyway, especially after putting up with the likes of Bush and his bunch of bums for so long? We've had eight years to field someone good enough to replace Bush, and what have we come up with? NOTHING! Eight years people, and all we can come up with is this bunch of dopes? If you don't vote in the national election, I wouldn't blame you. Boy, when they coined the tearm; "I voted for the lesser of the two evils" will truly come into play this November for sure! A black guy without any experience, a woman with an "attitude", and a group of "so called" CONSERVATIVES that I wouldn't waste my time listening to, let alone having lead our country. This is what we will replace George Bush with? Duuuh... If these people don't get you excited, then I don't know what will!

Dyson quality vacuums

Just the other day Ana and I went out looking for a new vacuum, we went to a few stores and finally wound up at Sears. After checking out several Brands, which I will admit, all looked pretty good, we decided that the Dyson was by far the best machine. Yes, they cost a little more than most other brands but "you get a lot more" and "quality" really stands out in these machines. There are many variations of this excellent product topping out with vacuums that pick up animal hair. Yes, I said ANAMIL HAIR! If you've ever had trouble vacuuming up dog or cat hair before then you know what I mean. Finally someone has built a machine that does it all in the new Dyson DC07,D14 and D17 Animal hair vacuums. On the Dyson website you'll find just about every type of vacuum to fit your needs, from allergy bagless uprights, canister types, animal bagless uprights with a HEPA filter etc. Before you go out and buy a new vacuum, you owe it to yourself to take a look at what Dyson has to offer. Remember if you buy a "regular" vacuum, you'll have to replace it again in a few short years.; If you had purchased a Dyson, you could some day pass it on to your loved ones when you depart! That's how good a Dyson is. So what would you prefer to do, buy machine after machine or buy one that will virtually last a life time? It's your choice, I know what I prefer and it's not buying machine after machine!

Ana's decided on a HP computer

Well, we're still looking for a new computer for Ana. We've been all around town and looked at just about every model and type. Seems that Ana's zeroing in on a new HP with a 20 inch monitor. HP makes the clearest monitors of all the computers we've looked at. You may pay a little more to get one, but believe me their worth it. Next time that you're in a store with HP computers, take a look at the monitors, then tell me which is the best. Anyway, I guess we'll pick one up today and end the looking, she's made her mind up (I think, but you know woman) and quite frankly I'm happy that the search is over.

Complete set of eyeglasses for $8.00!

Are you looking for reasonably priced eyeglasses? If your answer is "yes", then I have news for you. I've come across a website Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com offering a complete set of eyeglasses starting at only $8.00! Yes, I said $8.00! How can anyone sell glasses so cheap along with the frames, there must be a catch? Sure there's a catch, everything has a catch, but this time the catch is that they have no middleman to deal with and virtually no advertising costs either. They manufacture their own frames, which saves a heck of a lot of money, so they pass this savings on to you. If you're looking for Bi-Focal eyeglasses, they have them starting at only $25.00, and Progressive Eyeglasses starting at only $37.00, how can you go wrong? Anti Scratch Coating, UV Protection, Lens Edge Polishing and Beveling are all FREE! It's amazing to me that a company like this can stay in business with prices so low. So if you want to save a ton of money, then check out their website and believe me, "you won't believe your eyes"!

Taxes, warm weather & voting

Friday has come again, I can't believe how fast time is going by. The weather here in Michigan has been warmer than usual this winter, so far anyway. Maybe I just put the "Kibosh" on us! LOL It rained all last night, but at least it wasn't snowing.

Is everyone ready for the "TAXMAN? I'm never ready because we have two property taxes here in Michigan. Those nice people in Lansing send us one in July and another in December, just in time for for a Christmas, how nice!

We have a "Primary" next Tuesday. I'm an Independent, so I can vote. I'll tell you the truth, I don't like any of these candidates. I didn't care much for Bush either, so I didn't vote for him, but this bunch of "wanta be's" may be even worse than him! Maybe we should vote like the kids play "Pin the tail on the Donkey" NOOOO....I Mean Elephant!

Things are heating up here in Michigan!

I just came home from taking Tiana to school. It was raining quite heavily all night and from what I hear, some people were killed in Missouri do to a twister. Nothing like that here in Detroit though, thank God.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I went shopping last night at Kroger, a man in his mid thirties approached me and gave me a brochure about one of the lesser known Republican candidates. I told him, that McCain will blow this guy away as I put the brochure into my basket, he followed after me and grabbed the brochure and said nastily; if you don't want it, give it back! He had a look on his face like he was about to punch me! I guess things are heating up here in Michigan too! Our primary is next Tuesday. I don't know who will actually win here but Romney is quite strong along along with John McCain, on the Democratic side, Obama should have no trouble.

My old high school basketball team (HARTLAND EAGLES) scored a record 103 points against Fowlerville High School last Friday night! Fowlerville did quite well too, scoring 92 points themselves! This was quite an accomplishment for a High School team. GO EAGLES!

Heat sensing device

Here is a new product that will interest people that want to control temperature such as; a patients room, computer or anywhere heat is a problem. Temperature is a real concern in the horticulture industry for example, a room temperature sensor can be set to sound the alarm when the temperature gets too high or too low. My cousin was burned in a chemical accident a few years back and spent several months in Sherman Oaks Hospital Burn Ward in Sherman Oaks California, just north of Los Angeles. His room temperature had to be controlled day and night so he didn't get an infecting. He was burned over 90% of his body. This unit would have come in handy once he was released as an out patient and convalesced at home. Heat has it's uses we all know that, but it also can be a killer to technical products, the sickroom as well as horticulture. Anywhere heat is a problem. So if you or someone you know has been having heat regulation problems, then this room temperature sensor device just might be the solution. Visit the website and see if this is the answer that you've been looking for to solve your heat regulation problems. I'm sure that you'll be delighted at what you'll find. All orders over $99.00 are shipped free.

Love your kids, love one another...

It's raining here in Michigan today and this is the last day before Tiana has to return to school. I know that she has to go back, but at the same time I love to have her with me. Maybe that's a little selfish on my part, but I love her so much that wherever she goes without me, a little piece of my heart goes with her. In this day and age we spend less and less time with one another, especially here in America where we have to make every dollar count, and for the most part, it takes two incomes just to survive. In turn we spend a lot less time with our children, something the Philippines has over us. When I do get the chance to be with our children, I like to take full advantage of the time. I have raised one child, a son, by a former marriage and I know just how fast the time can go by. When you realize that they have grown up, then it's too late to go back and enjoy that time again. So the bottom line, enjoy your small children now, as they are only small once, and you only get one chance to be with them at this age. Each day they become older, and although you can't see it, changes were made to their tiny bodies as they slept. Before you know it, they're as tall as you are, and you'll wonder where all the time went! Don't let another minute go by without taking the time to hug your children and tell them how much they mean to you. You get only one chance and one chance only to get it right Mom and Dad. Saying "I LOVE YOU" is a wonderful way to end each day and begin another. Wherever you are, whoever you are, Ana and I want you to know that "we care about you" and wish you all the best in this New Year!

Now it's possible to play the piano without spending countless hours of practice with the Piano lessons & piano chords method. You don't need to spend years to have fun playing your favorite songs. It's wonderful to make music by yourself and not stand in the wings watching someone else having all the fun. Put yourself in the limelight and learn to play and have a ball doing it! Take the time to visit Duane "The Pianoman" Shinn's website and see what courses he offers, I'm sure that you'll be amazed at what you'll find and how short the courses are! Remember, Duane gives you lessons free of charge in his newsletter, but if you decide that you want a full blown course, then he sells DVD's on his website. There is never any obligation to purchase his courses.

I'm glad it's over!

Did you make it through the holidays in one piece? I hope so. We had our ups and downs but for tho most part came out okay. We tried to limit our spending and bought mostly for our kids, my son and his friend Bill. We gave money to Ana's people in the Philippines, (something that is in short supply over there). We had a nice ham dinner and enjoyed the day. I really hate to say this, but I'm so glad that it's all behind us now. I'm looking forward to spring so I can get some things done on our house.

Ana wants to bring her brother over on a tourist Visa but I'm not too sure that they'll approve it. Many visitors have come over and when it was time to leave, they didn't go back. So now our government frowns on giving Visas to Filipinos. I guess many people from third word countries would do the same thing given the chance. Who wants to back into poverty? Can you blame them?

I guess that young man that killed five people while driving drunk is in big trouble. He'll spend most of the rest of his life behind bars, I guess that's the only bars he's be seeing for a very long time! I hope you all learned a lesson by what happened to him. They should make him attend all the funerals he created as part of his punishment too. No excuses, drive drunk and kill...pay up with your life!

Christian Faith Financial

Did you spend a little too much Christmas and now you're a little short of cash to pay your bills? Yes, we tend to forget that they will roll in very fast come January and many of us just can't cover all of them. When that happens, you need someone in your corner who understands and is there to help you. So don't feel bad, many of us make that same mistake year after year, and we never seem to learn once the Christmas tree goes up. Anyway, I know of an excellent Christian website that helps people find the best payday loans available for your specific needs. These people know human nature as well as anyone and want you to know that they're there to help you. They specialize in helping people find loans from $200.00 to $1,500.00. It's not a joke when money is in short supply, we've all had that happen now and then. These are Christan people, and they understand what it's like and are willing and want to help you get back on your feet. So log on to their website and see what they can do for you. You'll find good honest people there waiting and willing to do all they can to help you. Driven by God to help those less fortunate.

Leave your "guns" and "car keys" at the door!

Well, I hope that you all made it through New Years safely. As for us, well, Tim and Bill stopped over, we had Beer, Pizza, Candy and a lot of other stuff. The kids had a great time too. We watched a stunt motorcycle rider pull off a jump over a football field to set a new world record which was fun. We thought that he was going to kill himself, but he did it flawlessly and made the jump look easy. To make his point, he turned around and did it again! Where was Robbie Knevil?

I hope you heard that there was a least one person who chose to drive drunk over New Years and wound up hitting another car "head on" and killing five people. This fellow not only killed five people, but in the process screwed up his own life forever. I feel sorry for both families. This should never have happened and I think it's about time that someone is held accountable other than just the driver. The bartender has to know when someone has had enough to drink. Maybe when someone enters a bar, they should buy passes for only three or four drinks. Put a number on a drink voucher and ink stamp the number on the hand of the buyer so they can't use someone elses ticket to buy more alcohol. We need to "limit" the amount of drinks that a person can buy per visit. A person should not be able to leave the bar and return later, once out, your out for the night. A person shold not be allowed to "Bar Hop" either. Maybe another way to control it would be to have drinkers register on the Internet, then given a number which could be checked at the door by bar owners. If the computer shows that a person has been at a bar that evening, then they should be denied entry. Most of the people who drink and drive, drink at a local bar close to their home. When they drink at home, they usually stay at home. Sorry bar owners, but something must be done, because you're not doing enough to stop this terrible problem. Some sort of limit should be put on drinkers because the more people drink the more their judgement is impaired, and many people don't even know how many drinks they've had after a while. Bar maids just keep coming around asking if they want another round. All the bar owners care about, is filling their cash registers! Someone needs to keep tabs, and stop people when they've had enough to drink. Another way to do it would be to take away their car keys and make them take a cab home, then pick up their keys the next day. In the wild west years ago, they used to take away guns before they could enter a bar, because they used to shoot one another after a few drinks! You have to take away the things that people use to hurt other people after drinking. Then it was guns, today it is cars, need I say more? At any rate, something more needs to be done to stop people from hurting other people, and I welcome any suggestions and will post them on my Blog. So lets hear what you think should be done to stop drunk driving.
