Math Tutor

I would like to talk a little about the Score Learning Centers Math Tutors course. This is a tutoring program designed to improve your child's Mathematical skills and take the student to a new higher level of learning. So if you’re looking for a program that can enhance your child’s ability to surpass their current expectations, then this just may be what you’ve been looking for. Score is on the cutting edge in children's tutoring technology and always looking for new ways to improve their programs. My daughter is currently having a speech problem and she’s making good progress, so when she completes her speech training, we then hope to enroll her into one or more of Score's tutoring programs ourselves. I believe she’s a little behind her age group, so only a good tutor can bring her back up to current levels. So take a look at what this fine educational institution can do for your child. Remember, only you can start your child on the road to a better tomorrow and with Score's help, you'll be able to achieve that goal. So go to the Score website and take a look at all the excellent programs that they have to offer, you have nothing to loose, but your child does!

The bug is still at our house

Tiana was still really sick last night. We took her to see her Doctor earlier yesterday and she said that Tiana was getting much better and could return to school today, however last night she vomited at least three or four times before and after she went to bed. I guess it just shows you that even the Doctor can get it wrong sometimes. I'll have to call the Doctor again today and also her school and let them both know that this little girl is just too sick to return to school for at least another day. The weather change is the culprit, even Ana is sick now, so it's going around. I hope that the bug hasn't hit your family....yet!

Terracotta Warriors in UK!

Boy, is this a great opportunity for those of you thinking of taking a vacation and don't know where to go. I'm talking about the Army of the Terracotta Warriors, 8000+ of them! This was one of the greatest finds of the 20th century and they're now being displayed at the British Museum UK, Sept through April. I saw a program about this accidental discovery and it was one of the most fascinating shows I've ever seen. If you want something out of the ordinary and something that rivals the items from King Tuts tomb, then this is for you. If you prefer to see the warriors in their own environment, then trips are available from a four day package to a full China tour up to 26 days! This is a trip that you'll talk about for a lifetime!

Tiana is still sick

It's Saturday and we have college football all day long, isn't that just great girls! LOL Anyway Bill is coming by around noon so I can help him move a coach. After that I'm sure that we will need a few "cold ones" to get us back on track!

Tiana went to bed really sick last night. She is still asleep so I don't know if she's any better. I was thinking that I may have to take her to the hospital if she doesn't get any better soon. She was coughing like she had the "croup" before she went to bed last night, if any of you still remember that word. Boy, this is going to be one tough year if colds are starting already.

Did you ever have one of those weeks when you just didn't have enough money to pay a bill or just wanted that Pizza for the big game and payday was days away? Well I've found an easy solution for you. There is an online loan company that treats you like a good neighbor and will come to your rescue. You only need to have an $800.00 a month income and an active bank account to qualify! Approvals are quick and easy with an online application and are processed in just seconds. Did you know that pay day loans are quickly becoming the number one online loan company? You can virtually get an online loan from them anywhere there is a computer! Now if that isn't convenient, then I don't know what is. Payday Loan Rescue is a great answer to those unexpected events that we all face in life. Remember, when the unexpected occurs, you can count on pay day loans.

Bill, colds and the weather

I had some good news today, my friend Bill will be moving to an apartment not far from us. He just loves Ana and the kids so it will be nice having him close by. I don't know how long he will stay here because he wants to eventually move to Colorado, anyway Bill will be living here for a while anyway. Welcome to Roseville Bill!

Boy, was it hot here in Detroit today but soon the heat will turn to cold and I'm not sure that I'm ready for that. We came here from Southern California where the weather stayed around 70 deg most of the time, so living here is quite difficult for us at times. But we must do what we have to do, and for now at least, this is home

Tiana is very sick with a bad cold. We have given her Tylenol but right now nothing is working. She is sleeping right now which is good. Hopefully she'll be better tomorrow. I hope that your kids (if you have any)are well and not going through this change in weather thing that brings colds and flu. Have a great weekend guys!.

Score reading tutors...

My daughter has a speech problem and is in first grade. She’s making good progress with her speech teacher, so when she is at the correct level I want to take her a step further by talking to the Reading Tutors people about getting her help to improve her reading skills. I believe that if a child is to achieve greater goals in life, they have to be tutored at the grade school level. To be a top notch student one has to have good reading skills. At SCORE they’re dedicated to helping your child achieve greater goals, from Reading, Math, and Writing to just good study skills, SCORE does all of this for the student. Yes, I believe Score is a source where my child can get the most out of her school years, something she will take with her all through her adult life.

Colds, Cellphones and paint

You can tell that summer is almost over because old man winter has checked in in our household. Tiana has come down with a very bad cold and has been out of school for the past two days now. If this is any indication of what's coming, then were in for it. This year I've decide that I will get a flu shot. Something tells me that this is the year that I should get one. Usually I avoid needles of any kind, but getting sick is also not an option because I have to take care of the children.

Yesterday I had my cellphone unlocked. It cost only $6.00 and adds alot of value if you ever want to sell it, not to mention that it is a GSM world phone that can be used in almost any country. GSM cellphones are mostly universal, all you have to do is go into any store in the country that your visiting and get a sim card and then you can use our phone in that country. This is very convenient because my wife is from the Philippines as you know. Verizon cellphones and some other providers as well will not work abroad.

Today is also paint day. I have to finish some painting on our house and it has to be done before the bad weather arives. I hate to paint, cut the grass and take out the trash! How about you?

After all this I guess I can still say, have a great weekend and see you next Monday....did I say that bad "M" word again? LOL

You're the best PPP!

What I love about PPP; The ability to make extra money each month for my family and also the chance to make new friends along the way. I've been a postie for a little over a month now and I've made just a little under $200.00, which is not too bad considering I haven't been doing it for that long. I'm currently saving the money to start a new savings account for our newest daughter who was born with an underdevelpoed right leg, which will require multiple surgeries in the future, so I'm grateful that I have this opportunity. I don’t have the time to put into PPP right now, but I hope that I’ll be able to increase my time as more qualified posts become available to me. Being a newcomer, I don’t get the chances that many of the others do. Anyway, my goal is to eventually be one of the top PPP posties and money makers. I just want to say that In closing I just want to say that Payperpost actually helps with building businesses through traffic generation which recently has become a more popular way of marketing. Long live PPP!

My cat Charlie's gone....

I guess my cat Charlie is gone by now. I just didn't have the time to run all around looking for him. We're new to the Detroit area as you know so we just don't know where to look for stray animals anyway. I found a shelter, but it was very far away from where we live, so it didn't make any sense to me that they'd take him there. All I got was the run around when I asked people, I guess the people who live here just don't care much for cats like I do. Oh well, I hope someday to live more remotely where a cat can prowl outside without the threat of being captured and euthanized. Cats really do much more good than harm. So many people worry more about their flower gardens and forget that cats keep the mouse and rat populating down. Maybe someday people will realize that putting up with a little poo poo is better than being bitten by a rat when weeding those preses flowers!

Be more profitable with CostTracker

In the twenty first century the company that stay’s ahead of the pack is the one who changes with technology, so here’s something that I want to let you know about. There is a company offering a service that puts your destiny in your hands with a system they’ve developed called online time tracking software With this service you’ll be able to bid smarter, save time and money and learn through experience which accounts are worth pursuing and which are not. The bottom line is "profit" which will either make your company grow or in the end, break it. So to stay out in front, a company needs to track expenses quickly and know where the money is going. With CostTracker, you’ll be able to quickly understand your costs, be able to bid smarter and virtually shorten your billing cycle. This is the latest in record keeping technology that will keep you out in front of the pack, so go take a look at their website online time tracking software and read all about the great things that they can do for your company.

Neighbors prefer rats to cats!

I just wanted to let you know that there is an ordinance in Detroit that states that you cannot allow your cats to stray outside your house otherwise face having them picked up by the SPCA and eventually destroyed. It is so hard to keep cats trapped in your house as they need to roam outside and are nothing like Dogs who are quite happy staying in a yard or home. After a couple of years living in the Detroit area I decide to save a couple of cats from the horrendous winter weather and built them a house equipped with heat and put it on our back porch. This served them well for a couple of years. The cats wanted to go outside at night in the summer, so we really had no chance but let them. Everything went well for some time because they would appear at the door in the morning and sleep all day on the back porch. Just recently things changed drastically for our cats though. It seems that someone in our neighborhood has complained about them and traps were set to catch them. They disappeared one at a time until we have only one left. I can't really understand these people because if you have no cats outside then you open the possibility of having rats and mice running freely. I saw a large rat just yesterday run around a house not far from here, had my cats been outside they would have gotten it. I guess people prefer rats to cats, something that I just can't understand!

International phone card deal!

Wow, I just ran across a unique calling card that you should know about. It’s called Pingo. You can call anywhere in the world with unbeatable rates. Right now they’re offering $8.00 of free domestic calling and up to five hours of free calls with their "international calling cards".You can see that this company wants your business and will go the extra mile just to please their customers. There are no hidden fees like you’ve experienced with other calling cards. The only surprises you’ll get withcheap phone card Pingo is exceptional rates and great customer care. If you sign up, they’ll even give you a special blog discount coupon “ppp3" valid for $3.00 off Pingo. Purchase $25.00 phone cards for only $17.00, I can go on and on. Pingo has great Business and Family plans, which allow you to go global without any equipment to buy, easy management and great savings. Here are some other outstanding benefits that Pingo customers enjoy. “Ratewatcher”, a service that monitors that you’re getting the best possible rates available. “Pingo Mobile”, saves you up to 90% on international cellphone calls! Pino also rewards you with $15.00 for every new customer that you refer. I remember when I used to call my wife when she was in the Philippines, I bought several different types of calling cards and none of them delivered what they advertised. We had many dropped calls, charged for unanswered calls, poor connections, static and broken conversations. It just about drove us crazy, but at that time we had no other choice. Ping has changed all that with a reliable network that delivers over 1.1 billion international calls per month! Boy, do I wish that they’d been around a few years ago. When I think of all the money lost on those obsolete phone cards I used to buy! Now we’re in a new area, so go take an honest look, why Pingo? and ask yourself if you can beat what they have to offer, I think you’ll be as surprised as I was.

Back to school!

Tiana went back to school today for a half day session. She will get out at noon today. I guess they want to just get the kids orientated to their new surroundings, but tomorrow is going to be another story! Yes, tomorrow is the first full day the kids will have and Tiana will be right in the forefront, as she just loves to go to school. She loved her teacher right from the start. She has this one teacher for her first three years, then they change to another teacher. I like it this way because this one teacher knows her straights and weakness and they're compartable with one another. Miss Milly, the sub was not there today, but I'm sure she will be tomorrow. Tiana just loves going to this school, her teachers take good care of her as well, so what more can a parent ask for? I hope that all of you who have childen had as good of a start as we did today. Anyway, I'll soon hear how things went on her first day back to school.

Digital picture frames

I'd like to say something about digital camers. We are now into the digital age from camers, cellphones to Televisions, just to name a few things, but the camera is probably the one item that most of us own. We own Kodack digital camera and a Sony Camcorder, but the camcorder is not digital, which prompts us to start thinking of replaceing it. My wife, is the one in this house that enjoys taking the photographs, from nature, special moments, she enjoys it all and then puts the photos onto her online jouneral for all who visit to see. My sister in law, who also likes taking pictures, just purchased a new Canon camera, which she likes a lot, so maybe when we actually do decide to replace our old one, we'll take a look at a Canon. What I like in digital camers is that they've been incorporated into cellphones and many times have been found to be very useful in emergenciey situations. I rtemember when a camera like this captured a license plate number of a kidnapper as he sped off with his victim! You might look into the website digital picture frames for your photo needs which promped me to write about my digital experiences.
