Tiana is still sick
Tiana went to bed really sick last night. She is still asleep so I don't know if she's any better. I was thinking that I may have to take her to the hospital if she doesn't get any better soon. She was coughing like she had the "croup" before she went to bed last night, if any of you still remember that word. Boy, this is going to be one tough year if colds are starting already.

Bill, colds and the weather
Boy, was it hot here in Detroit today but soon the heat will turn to cold and I'm not sure that I'm ready for that. We came here from Southern California where the weather stayed around 70 deg most of the time, so living here is quite difficult for us at times. But we must do what we have to do, and for now at least, this is home
Tiana is very sick with a bad cold. We have given her Tylenol but right now nothing is working. She is sleeping right now which is good. Hopefully she'll be better tomorrow. I hope that your kids (if you have any)are well and not going through this change in weather thing that brings colds and flu. Have a great weekend guys!.

Colds, Cellphones and paint
Yesterday I had my cellphone unlocked. It cost only $6.00 and adds alot of value if you ever want to sell it, not to mention that it is a GSM world phone that can be used in almost any country. GSM cellphones are mostly universal, all you have to do is go into any store in the country that your visiting and get a sim card and then you can use our phone in that country. This is very convenient because my wife is from the Philippines as you know. Verizon cellphones and some other providers as well will not work abroad.
Today is also paint day. I have to finish some painting on our house and it has to be done before the bad weather arives. I hate to paint, cut the grass and take out the trash! How about you?
After all this I guess I can still say, have a great weekend and see you next Monday....did I say that bad "M" word again? LOL

You're the best PPP!
What I love about PPP; The ability to make extra money each month for my family and also the chance to make new friends along the way. I've been a postie for a little over a month now and I've made just a little under $200.00, which is not too bad considering I haven't been doing it for that long. I'm currently saving the money to start a new savings account for our newest daughter who was born with an underdevelpoed right leg, which will require multiple surgeries in the future, so I'm grateful that I have this opportunity. I don’t have the time to put into PPP right now, but I hope that I’ll be able to increase my time as more qualified posts become available to me. Being a newcomer, I don’t get the chances that many of the others do. Anyway, my goal is to eventually be one of the top PPP posties and money makers. I just want to say that In closing I just want to say that Payperpost actually helps with building businesses through traffic generation which recently has become a more popular way of marketing. Long live PPP!

My cat Charlie's gone....
I guess my cat Charlie is gone by now. I just didn't have the time to run all around looking for him. We're new to the Detroit area as you know so we just don't know where to look for stray animals anyway. I found a shelter, but it was very far away from where we live, so it didn't make any sense to me that they'd take him there. All I got was the run around when I asked people, I guess the people who live here just don't care much for cats like I do. Oh well, I hope someday to live more remotely where a cat can prowl outside without the threat of being captured and euthanized. Cats really do much more good than harm. So many people worry more about their flower gardens and forget that cats keep the mouse and rat populating down. Maybe someday people will realize that putting up with a little poo poo is better than being bitten by a rat when weeding those preses flowers!

Neighbors prefer rats to cats!
I just wanted to let you know that there is an ordinance in Detroit that states that you cannot allow your cats to stray outside your house otherwise face having them picked up by the SPCA and eventually destroyed. It is so hard to keep cats trapped in your house as they need to roam outside and are nothing like Dogs who are quite happy staying in a yard or home. After a couple of years living in the Detroit area I decide to save a couple of cats from the horrendous winter weather and built them a house equipped with heat and put it on our back porch. This served them well for a couple of years. The cats wanted to go outside at night in the summer, so we really had no chance but let them. Everything went well for some time because they would appear at the door in the morning and sleep all day on the back porch. Just recently things changed drastically for our cats though. It seems that someone in our neighborhood has complained about them and traps were set to catch them. They disappeared one at a time until we have only one left. I can't really understand these people because if you have no cats outside then you open the possibility of having rats and mice running freely. I saw a large rat just yesterday run around a house not far from here, had my cats been outside they would have gotten it. I guess people prefer rats to cats, something that I just can't understand!

Back to school!
Tiana went back to school today for a half day session. She will get out at noon today. I guess they want to just get the kids orientated to their new surroundings, but tomorrow is going to be another story! Yes, tomorrow is the first full day the kids will have and Tiana will be right in the forefront, as she just loves to go to school. She loved her teacher right from the start. She has this one teacher for her first three years, then they change to another teacher. I like it this way because this one teacher knows her straights and weakness and they're compartable with one another. Miss Milly, the sub was not there today, but I'm sure she will be tomorrow. Tiana just loves going to this school, her teachers take good care of her as well, so what more can a parent ask for? I hope that all of you who have childen had as good of a start as we did today. Anyway, I'll soon hear how things went on her first day back to school.

Digital picture frames
I'd like to say something about digital camers. We are now into the digital age from camers, cellphones to Televisions, just to name a few things, but the camera is probably the one item that most of us own. We own Kodack digital camera and a Sony Camcorder, but the camcorder is not digital, which prompts us to start thinking of replaceing it. My wife, is the one in this house that enjoys taking the photographs, from nature, special moments, she enjoys it all and then puts the photos onto her online jouneral for all who visit to see. My sister in law, who also likes taking pictures, just purchased a new Canon camera, which she likes a lot, so maybe when we actually do decide to replace our old one, we'll take a look at a Canon. What I like in digital camers is that they've been incorporated into cellphones and many times have been found to be very useful in emergenciey situations. I rtemember when a camera like this captured a license plate number of a kidnapper as he sped off with his victim! You might look into the website digital picture frames for your photo needs which promped me to write about my digital experiences.
