Rain, rain go away!

Well as I mentioned to you before, we haven't gotten much rain at all up here in Michigan all summer. Guess what, all that's changed lately. Seems like the old man up stares has felt sorry for us and inundated us with buckets of the stuff . Thank you, man up stares, you can shut the faucet off now! Sometimes he leaves the water running too long and he's a little hard of hearing, gosh, he's several thousand years old, don't you know, what do you expect? LOL

Crooked Mechanics

I guess I need to speak about Mechanics today since I had a bad experience with one... again! Honest Mechanics and Car Salesmen are a rare bread. I can't remember ever knowing either in my lifetime. Then why does our government allow these creeps to pray on society like they do? I've seen programs where they use hidden cameras to trap the unsuspecting crooked Mechanic right in the act, but in the end the scum just slithers away to screw the next person another day! I tried going to the dealer but he's almost as bad. He charges the highest rate he can and screws you that way! I tell you there's not much hope for the consumer. I guess if you want your car fixed without the screw job included, you just have to have one of these bums in the family!

Hannah's appointment canceled for today

I feel like I've been snake bitten. We headed out on our journey to Chicago this morning at 5:00 AM and about fifty miles out or so the car started acting funny. The repairman yesterday did say it need some more work, but indicated that it should make it to Chicago without any problems. But it didn't, and we lost Hannah's appointment! Well, I called the hospital, the people there are really nice, and they rescheduled us for the 17Th of October. Hopefully we'll get the car "completely" fixed this time and avoid any mishaps again. Yep, Ana's gone back to bed!

Getting ready for Chicago

We're trying to get everything together today for our trip to Chicago tomorrow. The last time that I drove through Chicago I ran into so many big trucks that I couldn't believe my eyes! If you've been to Chicago, then you know what I mean. We're not too worried about navigating the city though because we have a Carmin GPS. We've used it a few times and it works great. If any of you get lost like we do, then a GPS is your answer. You don't even need to look at it as you drive because a voice prompts you when to turn and by street name as well! It takes you right up to the door of the address that you're looking for. Wow, what an improvement in travel.

Power Cord

Have you heard the news, T.C.A. (Technical Cable Applications) is expanding their power cord capabilities? Soon they will offer up to 20 different types and lengths. Known for HDMI cables, this company is on the move with larger inventory and selections for your power cable and connector needs. If it's cables, IPod accessories, speakers and headphones, whatever you're looking for is all available. If any of you are like me, you just hate running all over town trying to find that special cable or connector. Well, those days are over, just go to the website linked here, you'll find friendly knowledgeable people eager to serve you.

To the repair shop today

I got up early today because I have to take our car in for a small repair before we leave for Chicago tomorrow night. Last night we stopped at Kmart after grocery shopping to take a look at cellphones again. Ana is not satisfied with her selection of the Cinguklar because it doesn't have some features she thought it did. I told her to check everything out before she bought it but you know how women can be! Well now we're back to square one and she's on the prowl for another phone, guess who's got the Cingular?
While at Kmart we also purchased a Cingular "Firefly" phone for Tiana. She doesn't know anything about cellphones except that it has pretty lights on it, but we bought it anyway, it wasn't much and hopefully she'll be able to catch on as to how to use it soon

Save up to 70% on hotel rooms

You all know that my wife Ana is from the Philippines, so I'm always looking for travel deals for future visits to her country. I really want you guys to know about a really excellent website that I just came across Hotel Reservations. They have deals that beat the competition hands down. Let's face it, we all want to save money when we travel, that's why we surf the net for the best deals we can find.. I'm really excited about this website because they "do it all" for the traveler and believe me, saving up to 70% on hotel rooms is unimagineable these days You can also resurve vacation rentals and motel rooms both domestically and abroad too. . So why not go to the right people in the first place and avoid all the hassles? Think about it, how can you beat 70% off anything these days, answer is, you can't. That's why this is such a unique website and you need to "spread the word" about it. Come on my friends, tell all your friends and family about the great deals they have to offer. Seems to me that there's no other place to go when you want red carpet treatment in hotel room reservations then with Hotel Reservations!. So if it’s great pricing, with top quality hotel rooms, vacation rentals and much much more, and savings that make the competion shutter in their boots, this is it! Again, the website that I'm talking about is Hotel Reservations. If you’re traveling both domestically or internationally you will get the same great treatment and pricing.. So why go anywhere else when you can get the best deals with just the click of your mouse? So the next time you travel to the Philippines or any other destinationa both home or abroad remember Hotel Reservations. first. Did I tell you that they also speak in many different languages as well? .Wow, what a website!

Going to Chicago this week

We are getting ready for our trip to Chicago this coming week for Hannah's checkup at Shriner's Hospital. While we're down there we'll also go and see Ana's sister and brother in law Roger, near Champaign Ill. Hopefully the weather will be good and this trip will go smoothly. My stomach is aching at the possibility of what the Doctors may say, so far two other Doctors have come up short (Childrens Hospital & U of M)in their diagnosis, as far as we are concerned anyway. The third one will hopefully be the charm that we've all been looking for.

Wind, Rain and Raccoons!

Hey, how would you like to step onto your back porch and run head on into a full grown Raccoon? Well that's exactly what happened to me last night! Bill stopped by again to let us know that he was going to stay in town for a while longer, but he caught us just when we were about to leave for the store. He didn't care to go with us, so we let him stay at our house until we returned. About an hour or so later a big storm hit eastern Michigan, we stopped into our local Burger King restaurant to ride it out. The wind was blowing, lightning st cracking everywhere and a couple of tornadoes sprung up near Brighton, which is about 60 miles west of here. When the rain let up somewhat we left for home (burgers in our stomachs of course) and our main street (Gratiot)was flooded really badly. Several cars were stalled in deep water and police lights were flashing everywhere. I was glad that I had decided to take our van this time and it rides high above any water. Some times you just guess right! Anyway back here at our house Bill had been sitting outside on our front porch waiting for our return when the storm hit, he got caught right in the middle of it and got soaked! He said that the lighting scared the heck out of him and he had never seen anything like it in California. Well he stayed longer than expected and derided himself before leaving. It was about twelve or so and I walked him to his vehicle, we chatted for a while and then he left. I walked back to the house and entered our back porch to go into the house through our back door. Just when I stepped onto the porch, a full grown Raccoon was there and needless to say, it freckled out when it saw me. It ran crazily all around the porch trying to find a way out. It was knocking everything over and finally it saw that the door open, so it ran out and into the darkness. Boy, what a day yesterday was, it had everything. I hope that today is just one of those boring nothing happening days. I don't think I could take another one like yesterday!

An old friend stopped by

Last night an old friend of ours from California stopped by to say hello. His name is Bill. We showed him videos we took the last time we were Philippines because he hadn't seen them and he's interrested in learning about the Philippines. We had a few "cold ones" and chatted until around midnight. It was nice seeing Bill again. He says that he plans on traveling down to Florida for the winter, then around the south, finally winding up in Colorado Springs where my son lives. He said that California has grown too big for him so he decided to take to the road for awhile. I guess sooner or later he'll stop traveling around the country, settle down and bring out the old fishing pole!

Why I Feel Strongly about Alzheimer's

This entry is one that we all need to read about because it will affect everyone of our families sometime in our life time. We're talking about Alzheimers desease. In our country's history we've been able to change destiny by banning together for one cause or another. African Americans banded together and marched in the streets in the sixties to fight for cival rights, in the seventies people took to the streets to protest the Vietnam war. In the nineties black people marched on Washington in the Million Man March to bring awareness to their cause. Now we have another enemy to deal with and it's called, Alzhemiers desease! If you don't know what it means, then you may visit the Alzheimer's Association. Anyway, this desease is a growing problem that not only affects the person who contracts it but their entire family as well. Can you imagine your father or mother not knowing who you are, and spending the rest of their lives living in a shell? Can you imagine going to visit them and they don't know who you are, can you? Can you imagine taking care of someone in that condition for the rest of their lives? Believe me, I took care of my mother in her last days and she showed symtoms of it and it was hard for us to deal with. These are heartbreaking thoughts. Well you can do something about it by stopping Alzheimers in it's tracks! Join an Alzheimer's Association walk in your comunity this fall. If you don't know where one is, then go to the Alzehimers walk website and there will be a walk locator there to help you. Remember, this is a nation wide walk so you'll have many just like you, who care, so sign up early! The walk needs Team Captions Team Walkers, or an Independent Walker. Show everyone that you care about this terrible desease, by putting your best foot forward to stomp out Alzheimes desease forever!

Ana now has a pay Cellphone!

We just went to Wal*Mart to purchase a new head set for Tiana's IPod. While we were there Ana decided to take a look at some pay cellphones. She saw one she liked from Cingular (AT & T) but it seemed too expensive, so she decided to wait and see if she could find a better deal. We had to also stop by K-Mart on the way home to pick up a few groceries, so while there Ana decided to see what phones they had. As luck would have it, it turned out that they had the same cellphone for $10.00 less than Wal*Mart! Now that's a twist!Needles to say, she took one home and is now setting it up.

Send Large Files

I just discovered a website that allows large email files with multiple attachments to be sent to customers send large files when your host email provider can't, and no registration is required either! Sometimes, it is just impossible to send a large file through regular e-mail and when you could, it took forever! Well fret no more because I’ve found a website that has solved those problems forever. Now days it is imperative to be able to send large files with multiple attachments to customers and clients alike. This saves time and money for both parties and could even save that big contract! You can edit on-line as well as do reads/writes as well as faster uploads, folder support, zip file and desktop web widgets for easy sharing. So if this sounds good to you, then go and take a look at their website and see what they have to offer. Remember, you have everything to loose if you don’t!

Tiana has been sick

Our eldest daughter has an illness that she's been tested for repededly, and no matter what the tests have been for, they have always come back negative. She experiences cramping either in her lower stomach or female area, which also has not been determined. Not one of the Doctors she's had (and there have been many) have ever been able to come up with a solution to this elusive problem. Her current Pediatrician wants us to take her off dairy products, to she if it could be an allergic reaction. I think we've tried this before, but at this point, we're willing to try it again. She also wants us to watch her and take notes every time she has a cramp, also list what she eats, then bring her back for another check-up in a month. She then will take a look at the notes to determine the frequency of her cramping and hopefully be able to narrow this problem down and come up with a possible treatment. It's hard for us to live with her cramping, because we don't know how to help her. If the Doctor doesn't know what to do for her, then how can we?

The Next Internet Millionaire

There is this show about The Next Internet Millionaire. I think it is a good opportunity for those looking for big money through the internet. It is about how to make money online, and well, if you happen to be interested, be sure to come see about it and join the many people trying to compete for the $25,000 USD prize. If you win, that will be a big money for you. Even I, would be interested, but I am not a computer savvy that would know a lot, so I can only share about it for now. I might try to learn something as I am curious about how to make more money online. Now, check it out!

Tiana got an I-Pod

I bought Tiana her first I-Pod yesterday for her Birthday. it was "Pink' of course and she's just had a wonderful time with it. I thought that she was going to take it to bed last night she liked it so much. Boy when I weas a kid we only had 78 and 45 RPM records to listen to and that was it! When the transistor radios came out, we all had to have one of them, remember? LOL Now the kids have so many things that none of us older people had, from Video Games to I-Pods to what's next that it boggles your mind. The down side it cost though. With jobs exiting the country on a continues basis one must always keep in mind that saving money is paramount. You never know when your job will suddenly wind up in China or India! Never the less we as Americans always want the best for our kids and it sure shows at Christmas doesn't it? Since the credit card was invented we just spend spend spend and don't realize what it really is going to cost us.

Save money by using room heaters

We save a little money each winter by using electric room heaters whenever possible. Just the the other day, I picked one up on sale. These heaters really come in handy during the cold winters up here in Michigan and especially in the upper part of our house, where it gets very little heat. Last year our furnace went out completely and had we not had a good electric heater we could have had a real problem on our hands. We have two young children and it makes good sense to have a back-up heat source in case of emergencies. Anyway, since that happened I'm always on the look out for electric heater deals to upgrade the old ones that we have now. We try to keep the furnace turned down as much as possible since the cost of gas has gone up so much, so as it tuns out, electric heaters are now becoming much more economical and practical to use. Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a company that I came across online that makes really cool Room Heaters and fireplaces. Their firplaces are very nice too and priced for every budget. They have the look that will fit in to even the most sugnifiscated decor. So drop by their website and take a look at what they have to offer,I think you'll like what you see.

Wet day in Detroit

It finally rained last night and we're supposed to get even more today and tomorrow. My grass has taken a beating most of the summer without much of the wet stuff, so hopefully it will spring back to life. I don't think anything can bring down the looks of your property more than dying grass.

Anyway,I'm trying to help Ana fix her computer but everywhere I check it seems the cost is just to high. Maybe it's time to admit that she was ripped off and look for another one. She said that next time she's just going to buy a new one. I think this time she's got it right. The old sayings; "you get what you pay for" and "Don't judge a book by it's cover" sure came true in this case.

Business made easy

You know, my wife has been talking about starting her own business. But, I always tell her that it is such a hassle to get into since the paper work alone is such a job. I don't think it is worth it without somebody's help who knows about all the legal and necessary papers needed to own and run a business. However, I just found out that for people like her who has the desire to have their own business, they can make it happen. There is now a way for them to be able to start their own business by seeking the help of a company that is based in Las Vegas. There are a number of offices available, but one can be found at this Memphis virtual office for you might find it helpful with making you start your own business. You can even start at an office which is available for you to use instead of meeting your clients else where. Now, that is not only a deal, but really convenient, I would say. Imagine the company will set you up, help with paper work, provide an office for you if needed with all the conveniences you may require, and at a low cost. So, see about it, and make your dream about owning your own business a reality.

Filipino food-caldereta

I went with Ana some time ago to shop at the Philippine store, and actually ate with her. She ate some weird looking food one of which was the caldereta. Usually, it is a dish with goat meat, but when I asked the guy who served it about what it was that day, he replied beef. So, I went ahead and gave it a try, I actually liked it, I ate quite a lot in fact. But then, my wife went back to the store and asked what meat they used in their caldereta, they said goat, so I decided to back off, and not bother eating it again since I don't eat goat meat. I might have Ana fix caldereta since she found out that she can use beef. I like caldereta, and those rice noodles; the pancit bihon. Those are the two I like so far. Anyway, enough of my talk about Filipino food. Let me go for now. Good night!

Loose weight with the "LAPBAND" procedure

Here is something that many of you are going to be interested in. A new simple procedure that can help you loose weight and keep it off! This new technique is called the “Lap Band Procedure” lap band. A surgeon makes very tiny incisions into the stomach cavity and a small inflatable band is inserted. The surgeon then uses a small camera to help him/her wrap and fasten a small inflatable band around the upper part of the stomach, creating a pouch. This "pouch" when inflated, will make you feel fuller so you won’t want to eat as much food, in turn you will loose weight. If you have a weight problem and have tried everything and the only thing getting smaller is your wallet, then you owe it to yourself to check out this website. Maybe this will be your ticket to the body that you've always wanted. I'll see you on the beach next summer!

It's getting cooler in Michigan

Ah...it's Saturday and the weather is starting to change up here in Michigan. It looks like those hot humid days are finally going away, which means colder weather is right around the corner.

Tiana and I walked to Walgreens last night to buy a bag of candy "worms" and she had to wear her heavy coat because it was quite cold outside. Walgreens is about a half a mile away from our house, so you can just imagine that a little girl could get quite cold without a coat on.

Ana purchased a second desktop computer yesterday only to find out that the Hard Drive had been removed. She thought that she was getting a good deal, I tried to tell her that something was wrong since it was priced so low, but "bull headed" as she is, she wouldn't listen. This place has a "no return policy", so she's stuck with the computer! She did tell me last night that she's learned her lesson, but knowing her I wouldn't count on it! If you guy's know Ana, then you also know that the line forms behind her, if she's not leading, then she's sure not following!

Global Text Messaging Service

Sending a message through text is quite popular these days. My wife's brothers and sisters are so good at that, and it is good to know that my wife can have a way to send text messages globally, because most of her family members are living half way around the world. So, with this new service I found online, she would be delighted to know that she can send and received text messages anytime, and on her computer or mobile phone. Anyway, this is the prefect opportunity for those wanting to keep in touch with friends, family, and relatives living all over the world. So, if you are interested, look in to this text messaging service for more information and send a message to all your contacts.

Weird stuff!

Well we made it through yesterday in good order. The car ran like a top, unbelievable! There really wasn't anything you'd want to bring home with you from the second hand store, so we just spent some time looking around at all the stuff people throw away. Have you ever looked at some of this stuff? It makes you wonder why a person buys it in the first place. I guess it's because they need something to throw away later, that's all that I can think of! Maybe it’s some of those weird Christmas presents that they forgot to return and then they wind up just laying around the house seemingly forever. You know the ones that I’m talking about, when you move your sofa to clean, wow!, there it is again, the same one you kicked under there months ago! You don't throw it away because, well, you may need it someday. Now what it is, heck you don't really know or really care because it's new looking. I don't know where this junk comes from, I don't ever come across any of it in any stores anywhere I go, so the only thing that I can think of is, there must be a "Weird Gift Shop" some place that I just don't know about. Gee honey, it's almost Christmas, let’s go to the "Weird Gift Shop" and buy a lot of really weird gifts for all our friends, they're going to need a lot of new "weird stuff" to give to the second hand store next summer! Yep Weird, that's the word of the day alright. Wow, we can't wait for next summer to get here!

The WizeTrade Blog

Do you know someone who makes trades on the stock market without a good strategy? This can be very dangerous and put your money at great risk. I've learned about a software that will take all the guess work out of stock trading. Whether you're new to the game or a veteran, this software is worth your while to take a look at. Everyone, no matter what your skills are need a plan of attack in trading and this software does just that. Don't fool around "willy nilly" and loose your butt just because you had no plan. So many people lose in life because they don't do the homework and have no plan. They only know that there's a cliff there because they walk off of it! Don’t be one of the unprepared, know exactly what and when to do it. Take a look at Wizetradeand see what you've been missing. How much has it cost you because you really didn't "do it right"?. If you want to do a whole lot better in the stock market then check this website out. Remember, your losses could have been a lot less had you had a good plan.

Paying bills etc.

We have to go to the bank and pay some of our bills today, but I have one concern though. My car battery was low yesterday, so I put the charger on it over night. Hopefully it will get us through the day. I hate to think that we could get stranded somewhere though. I do have towing insurance but I just hate the hassle of calling a tow truck. As soon as I get the time, I'll change the battery since we're on the downward slide into fall and bad weather coming. Believe me, I hate working on cars. I don't even like checking my tire pressure, can you believe it? LOL

Hey, do you guys like going to second hand stores? Ana and I just love to brows through all the junk that they have. We have about three or four stores that we like to hit once in a while. Today is one of those days too, if the car doesn't conk out on us that is! If you don't hear from me, I'm somewhere out there along side the road yelling obscenities at my car! LOL

Hot new Beach Cruiser bikes!

Boy was I glad to find this website. I’ve been a fan of Beach Cruiser type bikes almost all of my life. My son and all his friends owned “old style” cruisers, and if you didn’t have one, you were nobody man! Actually, they disappeared for a while but now they’re back with a vengeance because of beach cruisers. They have new features, colors and “hot” new styles that will appeal to all ages! Go to their website and take a look at all the new models, I think you’ll be delighted at what you see. They’re so “cool” looking, how can anyone resist buying one? This is a great time to wrap your legs around one too because xyzbikes.com has cut the price to $88.00. If you want to be the “hippest” person on the beach or maybe even in your neighborhood, then here’s your chance and you’ll save a heck of a lot of money too.

We were at the beach a couple of weeks ago and noticed many people riding around on different types of bikes. I’m sure that if many of these riders knew about the new beach cruisers, they’d want to upgrade for only $88.00! Anyway, I’m trying to get the word out here in my Blog about these new great looking www.xyzcruiser.com bikes, so spread the word for me and lets see these bikes everywhere!

Michigan fishing law

Well we made it through Monday without much of a problem. I don't know about you but I'm sure glad that it's over with. Sometime this week I want to take the family swimming again. The pool closes at the end of the month, so we don't have much time remaining. I also promised to take them all fishing. Seems that even if you just go along with someone who is fishing, you too must have a license! That's a law here in Michigan. Isn't that crazy? So you decide to take your little five year old fishing, you will need a license and the child won't! Duh! How nuts can you get? Boy the creative ways these states think up to get money out of people these days. The license is $15.00 and you will have to have one even if you're there to just watch. Wait a minute, I've got to go outside and yell something!

Let RateGenius help you lower you car payments

I am thinking of selling our house one of these days, and when I do, I plan to get a new vehicle for my family. Now, I found a website that offers auto refinancing in which I can get a deal with lowering my car payments if I do buy a car. I am thinking of doing that anyway. I don't intend to spend a lot money and be over budget, so I might have to refinance to be able to get by. Anyway, if you are in the situation where you need to lower your car payments. I would recommend to you a website that can help you, that offers lower car payments. Yes, you will be delighted to know that you can get 60 days break, meaning you can skip paying for that amount of time which will save you money. Now, wouldn't you be interested?

Health

Well as you know, just recently I was very sick and had to go to the hospital. Upon entering the hospital Emergency Admissions office I had to fill out a few questions. One of the questions being about Insurance, which I thought was still in affect. I told the receptionist that I wasn't sure about the insurance because I hadn't used it for such a long time. At the time I was just too sick to call and check. The receptionist exclaimed; "Oh, don't worry about it"...well I took her word for it and went in for treatment. A couple of weeks later I received their bill. When I opened the envelope I almost fell over when I saw how much they had charged me, $2,400.00!. I also learned that my insurance had been terminated earlier because I was receiving Social Security. Bottom line, you had better remember this when you decide to back one of the candidates. National Health Care should be one of our top priorities in this coming election. We don't need any more "lip service", While the politicians have the best Health Insurance this country can provide, more than 50,000,000 of us have NOTHING! This is unfair, and it has got to change! If you get sick and your health converge is no longer in effect because of a lost job etc., what will you do? I'm in that boat right now and I don't like it. I had to talk to some dummy at the hospital collections dept. and he tried to stiff arm me into paying the entire bill this morning, "if you don't pay up sir, we’ll have to turn it over to a collections agency"! I'm telling you people, I've been productive all of my life with my last job being at The Boeing Company where I designed Emergency Lighting Equipment for the 757 aircraft, the same aircraft that the terrorists used to attack us on 9/11. I”m also a veteran of this country too Now I'm a nobody without anyone in my corner.

Key West vacation rentals

I have lived in Florida for a while, and I can tell you, it is very nice there, I like the fact, that I was able to hang out at the beach, and see a lot of people just enjoying the day, having fun in the sun. Anyway, I would love to take my family for a vacation there if I can afford to do so. There is this Key West vacation rentals that seems like a very good deal. I could arrange for our accommodation if we do travel for a vacation to Florida at such reasonable rate. Now, if you are thinking of taking a trip to Florida, you might want to see about such vacation home rentals for your accommodation as well. Because if you are looking for something that will offer you the most comfortable santuary for you or your loved ones, you can find it there. Enjoy all what the Key West has to offer, go on an adventure under the sea; there are so many to do like snorkoling, swimming, diving, and maybe explore the blue Florida barrier reef!

Don't you just love it?

Tomorrow is that day everyone loves to hate, MONDAY! Well unfortunately it comes every week like it or not. Actually, I dislike Sunday much more, because many stores close early on Sunday and people just seem sluggish and don't want to do anything except lay around the house on Sunday. If you think about it, maybe that's why they play Football on Sunday, you may as well have something to do while you're laying on the couch! See you next Friday and we'll do it all again!

Well, I’ve found a website that sells quality batteries such as the Dell Laptop Battery at very reasonable prices. Laptops, to Power Tools all need new batteries sooner or later, and you can find them all here! It's the weekend, time to BBQ!

Well here it is the weekend and finally I see life in my lawn. This has been a long very hot summer without much rain up here in Michigan. I hope where you live was better. I just received our water bill the other day and it was very high, I cringed when I looked at it, but I guess it should be expected because I had to water the lawn and flowers more than usual. The Pool where the gang swim will close at the end of the month for this year, so I have to take them back over there for a couple of more dips within the next two weeks. Ana comes from the Philippines and over there they swim very often because there is so much water around the islands. The kids just love water period, unless it's take a shower time! LOL Well I hope you all have a nice weekend, the weather looks great for cooking out so grad the grill and just do it!

Off to the park!

Those of you who read my Blog regularly will notice that I have added something new to it. It's called PayPerPost. If you read about it, you soon will see why I chose to do it. It was a chance for me to earn a little extra cash, something we all can use. Anyway, it doesn't take very much time to do and I still get to spend most of my time with my two children. So after I finished posting for today I took Tiana, (our oldest daughter) to the park to ride her new bike. Well, as soon as we got there she saw a bunch of kids playing on the slide, so she quickly forgot about the bike, and off she ran! Guess who was stuck watching the bike! I don't care, she had a great time no matter what and I got out of the house.

I'm the newest PPP postie!

Our Children go back to see the Doctor

Well, here it is almost the end of the week again, we had Tiana at the Doctors office again yesterday for another examination. It seems like almost every week now we either have Tiana or Hannah at some Doctors office, with not much being accomplished to help either of them! It's very tiring for a parent, not to mention the children, to have to go through this sort of thing, believe me. August 29TH, we have to take Hannah to Chicago for an examination by a leg specialist, then it's back here to take Tiana to Children’s Hospital in Detroit for an MRI, to try to find out if something went wrong in her delivery. On and on it goes and where it stops no body knows! All my life I thought, how great it was to have a normal child, then BAM, the coin flipped! Again I want to emphasize to you, be grateful that your children were born normal, and say your prayers at night that they remain healthy.
50,000,000 people in America have no health insurance, many are our children, if you lose your job tomorrow, then you and your children will wind up on that list. Many Employers are cutting back on Health Insurance for their employees, or they just don't offer full time jobs at all any more. This provides the opportunity for the employer to avoid having to offer any benefits at all to new employees! Jobs are being "outsourced" to China by the millions, your job and health care could be next! So remember this when election time comes around, and vote for the candidate that will fight for Universal Health Care for every American. It's about time, we can't afford to wait any longer

Ashop Commerce for shopping cart software

A few months ago I attended a seminar about starting my own business. The meeting took place at our local city hall building. After a few minutes of listening to a couple of people I quickly realized that there was just too much involved for the average person to be able to start a business. Everything seemed over whelming with all the regulations, insurances, etc. Anyway, I just gave up on that idea and figured that having my own business was unattainable. However, just the other day I found a website about a company for shopping cart software that could help me if ever I decide to start my own business. And that is for only a very small monthly fee I can have a website fully functional with a shopping cart for my customers to easily check out. The company is called "Ashop Commerce" and they can help anyone build an on-line "Store" with their innovative shopping cart software. It's affordable, intuitive, and can be customized to suite your business for just a small monthly fee. So how can you go wrong? If you've ever dreamed of having your own business then take a look at this company website, I think you'll like what you find.

Hannah and Tiana news

I know I've been a little lax lately in writing, but I've been busy with our house. So anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that Hannah (our 8 month old)received her appointment to see a Surgeon at Shriner's Hospital in Chicago on August 29Th. Every time I say that word "Surgeon" I get a lump in my throat. We're hoping for a positive outcome this time. More on this as it develops.

Tiana gave up on the Strawberry Shortcake bicycle, so we went to "Toys R Us" yesterday and purchased a very nice "purple" bike for her. For some reason after she saw this one, when we were shopping for the other bike, it must have caught her eye. She, as most kids do, changed her mind at the last moment and told us that she wanted the Purple bike instead. Boy kids!

It's really hot here today in Michigan, I hope it's comfortable where you live. Have a wonderful day!
