Tiana's teacher say's that she's doing fine!

Well, we had our teacher conference Wednesday with Tiana's teacher and it seems that Tiana is doing a lot better in school than we thought she was. She still has a lot of work to do, but it went a lot better than we had expected it would. Kids are kids, we all must remember that. Do you remember when you were a kid? Surely not, but believe me, we had our own problems to deal with at school. Be patient with your child, not all kids will be "honor students" but that doesn't mean that they're not learning. I just hate to see those "My Child Is On The Honor Roll" stickers on car bumpers, primarily because it makes the other kids feel inferior, and that's not fair to them at all in my opinion. It's like rubbing their noses in it!Some kids today rebel later on because of all the pressures we put on them. When will the next Columbine event happen? I don't know that answer but what I do know is; we'd better stop making the other kids feel "not as good" and maybe a lot of this violence will also stop! If your son or daughter isn't doing as well as you expect them to do, then just remember...THEY ARE KIDS, give em' a break, and stop "Bullying" at school too!
