Iraq sits on a sea of oil, so why the high gas prices?

You know, when Bush decided to go into Iraq, I knew that we were going to be there for a very long time, but I also thought that since they float on a sea of oil that we'd surely have cheaper gas prices. Have you seen any cheap gas prices since all this nonsense started? Gas has been going up and down more often than I change my undershorts. Since the day he sent the troops into Iraq the price of oil has fluctuated and gone into orbit. Will it be higher tomorrow or lower, should I buy some today or tomorrow? Wait a minute, I just heard that one of the oil executives needs a new chateau, I guess it's surely going to go up!. I 'm so tired of paying these ridiculous gas prices and you should be too. Somehow we need to send a message to all these fat cat oil guys that are gauging us. I don't know how they can sleep at night, because many of the people that are hurt the most are the poor. Shame on these guys! Would you really vote for George Bush again if you had the chance? I sure wish we had given Kerry the chance to see what he would have done, he couldn't have done any worse.
