Free St. Augustine Artwalk
Going to Florida for the winter? Here is something worth mentioning about the sunshine state. The first weekend of every month, the city of St. Augustine comes alive with music and art exhibits. St. Augustine is the home of many artists and art lovers alike and is America’s oldest city. There are many free offerings for you to enjoy, so let’s take a look. First of all there is; free parking, free self guided art walks, a free sight seeing train and trolley tours. Just about everyone’s fancy is covered, from paintings, photography, architecture, music and more. Remember, admission is always “free”. The St. Augustine Artwalk tours start at 5:00PM and last until 9:00PM. There is a free shuttle that starts at 6:00PM for your convenience. So I would like all of you who read my Blog from time to time to "spread the word" about this spectacular monthly event. So please put St. Augustine on your “must see” list the next time you travel to Florida. Don't forget to log on to their website for further details and a event location map. You will also find a list of some of St. Augustine most prestigious artists there with links to their websites for you to enjoy. Some of the grandest things to see are right here in our own back yard, if only we know about them. I’m counting on all of you to tell your friends about this spectacular event. We’ll see you there!
