Watch out for the kids tomorrow night!

Booo..yep, tomorrow is Halloween and the goblins will be out in force, so please let me remind you to drive safely and watch out for those little tykes tomorrow. Here in Detroit most people drive like they're going to a fire most of the time. When I first moved back here, three little kids lost their lives chasing balls into the street. It turned my stomach because this is a needless thing to have happen. In California they have a law that all states should adopt. When ever anyone crosses the street, no matter if they're "J" walking or in a cross walk, you must stop and let them cross. This law keeps you on your guard for those times when the unexpected happens. Old people as well as kids dart into the street at times unexpectedly. If there is no such law, then you are not thinking about such a thing happening and what to do if something like that does happens to you. I wish all atates would adopt the California law which will keep you on your guard when driving and also save a lot of lives. Cars can always be replaced, little ones can't.
