Ebay Dispute

Sorry that I haven't posted lately but I've been really busy painting the outside of our house before bad weather comes.

Do any of you buy or sell on ebay? Well, I buy a lot of stuff from ebay and this time I was stuck with an item that didn't quite fit the description. It was a Compaq Desk top computer, and when "googled" it didn't turn out to be like the one I was given at the end of the auction! The seller put a "stock photo"of a newer computer in her listing and that was the one that I thought that I was bidding on, well it turned out not to be the case.So anyway, I had to submit a "dispute" with the seller, a woman, who is fighting me tooth and nail not to give me my money back. She did offer to refund 50% of the money however, what a great gesture! LOL Anyway it's around $400.00 that we're talking about, so we'll see what happens. I'll post the result when ebay finishes with it. I'm not that optimistic, to tell you the truth, because she was clever in her listing and may win on a technicality. We'll see.

Anyway, I've got to get back to work on the house, so have a great week everyone and watch out for that old flu bug that's going around.
